What in the world is that?
After more than a thousand homes, I still come across things that stop me in my tracks, cause me to take a second look and utter the words, “What in the world is that?” Here’s two recent ones…
There’s my phone USB cord! While on a roof in Mountlake Terrace I saw a cord tied to the bolt of this chimney cover. Its a little rusted but I’m guessing it it is still in good working condition. I have an Apple phone so this android cord is not going to help me. If you need a cord I left it in place to humor the next person on the roof!
Cat (Burglar) Ladder!When I arrived for an inspection next to a newly built house in Seattle, it looked like the neighbors were already doing house maintenance. Neighbor’s problems can provide valuable clues so I took a closer look. Who paints their step ladder shabby chic? Then I realized this was a cat ladder… or perhaps helpful tool for a cat burglar.
