How lucky does this inspector feel?

I confess that there are many times that I see devices, appliances and other household features and I am curious. What is it? How does it work? Does it still work? What would it be like to use that? Am I suppose to inspect that? What do I tell my client if they ask about it? Would this be something interesting to include in my blog? (A hundred questions cascade through my mind!)

Here is a funny item I found located between the toilet and shower in the guest bathroom. We don’t have bathroom scales at my house but I thought that I should tell my wife that we need to get one of these. This scale took the cake when I saw that for one penny it could take my weight and offer me a fortune!

…And in case you are wondering, NO, I did not step on it and use it. I’ve had the message “You break it, you buy it!” deeply imprinted in my mind.

But that didn’t stop me from taking a picture and wondering if this home inspector was feeling lucky.
