My family members all clean differently. You’ve got combinations of the systematic cleaner, impulsive cleaner, zone cleaner, deep meticulous cleaner, random cleaner, as-needed-cleaner, and refuse-to-cleaner. Then you add the variables to make it even more interesting: Which room? What type of cleaning? What are the circumstances prompting the cleaning? Who is helping (or not)?
Can you relate?
Well I would call myself mostly a random, meticulous cleaner which has its advantages when time is not a factor. But minutes before dinner guests arrive my style of cleaning can create frustration with my wife! One of my favorite tools to use when cleaning is a straight edge razor. It does wonders on windows, mirrors, stone, polished countertops, dried paint drops on the floor, and porcelain sinks and toilets. When cleaning I usually keep it in my back pocket.
Cleaning is only one of the countless tasks a straightedge can perform. I suppose we could call it the duct-tape of tools! And that is why it is one of my favorite products!
